Emergency Art Workshop
The ‘Emergency Art Workshop’ aims to foster socially engaged art by creating sustainable artworks through the materials we have at hand and that accompany us in our everyday life. The workshop works through the funnel technique; creative options are limited and agreed by the participants that, step by step, define their own constraints. For example, a group of students use the Non Food Items (NFI) Kit – the first set of objects that a family receives when they arrive to a refugee camp- to address the topic of home and thus produce with the real materials that those families have at hand. Designed the collaborative creative techniques and defined specific topics for creation.
